Summary
At TULASIIT, we are currently recruiting for a Web Developer/Designer to join a unique and rapidly growing organisation. This role will be based in the Birmingham, United Kingdom. The primary function of the role will be to maintain existing and develop new websites. You will need to be confident in designing responsive/dynamic/mobile friendly websites and assets. You will require strong knowledge of online user experience (UX).
Main Roles and Responsibilities:
Your time will be spent on designing web page mock ups, creating interactive elements, building web pages, taking part in new web development projects, website administration as well as creating other digital marketing materials such as emails, animated banners.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Must have Skills.
• WordPress/WooCommerce/eCommerce
• Proven background in front end design and development
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and any code editor of your choice
• Must be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript preferably with some experience amending templated responsive newsletters.
• Responsive design
• WordPress themes, widgets or plugins development
• WordPress custom post types, short codes
• Website speed optimization
• API integration
• PHP
• MySQL administration through PhpMyAdmin (database backup, replication)
• Rich snippets, Json -* lD schema*
• Linux (centos or ubuntu) server administration
• Masters
Experience:
• Minimum of four years of experience in WordPress development
• Experience of working within an eCommerce environment that uses WooCommerce, Magento or a similar platform.
• Technically strong with previous experience working in a fast paced, changing environment.
