Summary

MCC: Margaret’s Care Company is a CQC Registered, community based, award
winning independent Care provider offering Home Care services across Devon.
We support our 65+ communities to remain in their own homes so that they
can continue to live their lives as they have always chosen to, with their own
routines, familiar places and people surrounding them. We are a friendly,
professional and supportive team with diverse professional and personal
backgrounds.
We are actively recruiting individuals with a positive attitude to care, and
dedication to delivering the highest possible standards of care to join our
team. With a minimum of one hour visits, and the aim of continuity of clients
and carers relationships at the heart of what we do we are looking for
individuals ready to commit to varied work patterns from one morning a week
to full time. We provide short and long term live-in care across Devon, and
daily domiciliary visits around the South Hams area.
Home Support Workers: We are currently looking for home care workers to
work in and around Kingsbridge and surrounding Villages. As we are recruiting to
meet clients demand, we have differing working patterns available with
flexible hours to suit, both full and part time, for morning, daytime and or
evening shifts, weekdays, weekends and night shifts. Our rates of pay are competitive and average at £15 per hour, with lower or higher rates according to qualifications, experience and expertise. Our team must usually have a driving licence in order to be able to visit different client homes in the area, although this is not always essential. We have some ‘bank’ staff (self-employed), but most of our
team are paid through PAYE on the last Friday of each month, up to and
including the previous Friday, and we operate a company pension scheme for
our employees. As we partner with the NHS to deliver Care at home, we offer
our team NHS discounts at 1000s of High St and online retailers, free training,
enhanced DBS checks, uniform, required PPE and many other benefits.
To apply for these positions, carers need a willingness and passion to support
older individuals to remain living as independently as possible at home, as well
as a genuine interest in the stories and experiences of our older communities.
We offer opportunities for training and development, and applicants must
show they have the Right To Work in the UK (as these positions do not attract
immigration sponsorship), and readiness to have references checked and an
Enhanced DBS completed, in line with our safeguarding policy.

Certificate or other relevant qualifications are an advantage, we are happy to
sponsor training through our online training partner. A Clean UK Driving
Licence would be an advantage.
