Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Person(s) to join our friendly, caring and professional team working in our care home in Plymouth.
Based in Plymouth, the successful applicant(s) will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of buildings and grounds, as well as completing weekly and monthly Health and Safety checks in line with Care Quality Commission and Health and Safety at Work Act. There will be other tasks as and when required that will still fit within the general property maintenance skill set.
The successful applicant should already have some experience of this kind of role or have a building, decorating or trades background, have access to their own vehicle and be able to drive. Tools, PPE etc will be supplied but your own tools could be an advantage.
As a company we are hugely supportive of our teams: We pride ourselves on providing our employees with a high calibre of fully funded training: your time completing training is paid for in additional hours. You will have regular, recorded and protected 1:1 supervision with your line manager and you will receive peer to peer support from colleagues.
There are lots more reasons to work with us too. As well as a supportive team environment we offer meals whilst on duty, access to the Blue Light Discount card, entry to the Health Assured Programme and a good rate of pay and overtime opportunities and a £500 refer a friend scheme.
South West Care Homes is a progressive company where Quality comes first.
