- 42.5 hour week Monday to Friday with 1 in 4 Saturdays required.
Our client, one of the UK's leading automotive aftermarket installers, are currently looking to recruit a Mobile Auto Electrician/Installation Engineer to cover the South West London region of Greater London (not central) and Surrey.
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, you will be supplied with a fully equipment company van and start and finish each day at your own front door! You will be allocated your workload via a centralised bookings team which you shall organise yourself and be expected to visit our client's customers within a roughly 1-to-2-hour radius of Surbiton, South West London. Your work will involve the installation of such items as tracking, telematics and dash cams, Vehicle CCTV, AI systems, cyclist and pedestrian detection systems, solar panels, security locks, internal and external racking, and towbars to our client's customers vehicles (ranging from cars to HGVs and everything in between) as well as completing any associated documentation/paperwork.
In order to be eligible our client are looking for candidates that live within the Surbiton and surrounding region and have extensive experience in automotive aftermarket installations. Previous experience working in a mobile role would be highly advantageous however this is non-essential provided you can demonstrate your capability to work independently day to day. Overall, you be customer service orientated given you shall be handling clients and their concerns daily, have a methodical and organised approach to your workload, and be IT literate.
