Summary
Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester needed in Carlisle
- Basic salary of up to £35,000, plus bonus, based on experience.
- Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm (Saturdays 8.30am – 12.30pm on a Rota basis).
- Our client is seeking applications from qualified MOT Testers/Technicians, with significant workshop experience.
- Access to industry leading training from the offset and throughout.

Our client, a reputable franchised dealership based in Carlisle, is seeking a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their busy team.
What will the successful MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician do?
- Conduct MOT tests on a range of vehicles to ensure that they meet legal and safety standards.
- Repair and service vehicles.
- Complete diagnostic checks.
- Inspect for wear and tears/general faults.
- Complete work to DVSA standards.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Perform all other aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair as required.
The successful MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician will have:
- Level 3 Qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
- A valid MOT License.
- Current workshop experience.
- A full UK driving license.
- Own set of tools.
The successful MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician will get:
- Basic salary of up to £35,000, plus bonus.
