We currently have an opportunity for a Memorial Consultant to join our Business Leader, Lee Nelsom, and their dedicated team of funeral professionals at Fenland Crematorium.

Hours are Monday - Friday (09:00 - 17:00).

So what will you be doing...?

As a Memorial Consultant, you will ensure that all memorial enquiries and potential memorial requirements are handled to the highest standards of professionalism. Working towards SLAs and targets, this role has the potential to access bonuses on top of the usual base salary.

  • Meet with clients to discuss their memorial requirements always ensuring that the client is well advised, informed of all options and accurately advised of costs.
  • Liaise/co-ordinate with other stakeholders regarding memorial requests and queries.
  • Accompany the client to visit the completed memorials on-site, as and when required.
  • Witness and carry out interment based on the Client’s request.
  • Carry out administrative tasks relating to the processing of memorial agreements ensuring compliance with cemetery/crematorium regulations
  • Communicate with the administration staff to ensure that they have the appropriate documentation and are aware of any further enquiries or orders.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with the Clergy plus Cemetery and Crematorium staff.

  • High attention to detail is essential.
  • Proactive approach and willingness to communicate effectively with a range of people, both in-person, over the phone and via email.
  • Ability to successfully multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Computer literate in addition to experience using Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
  • Presentable at all times, acting with professional conduct and showing empathy.

  • An annual base salary £23,917.92 + commission (OTE £28,000 per annum)
