Summary

Senior Support Worker - Mental Health
Setting: Mental health crisis service
Location: Chesterfield
Hours available: Full (37.5 hours) or part time hours available (30 hours)
Salary: Part time - c. £20, 500 Full time - c. £25, 500

The client:
In partnership with a recognised care and support charity, who specialise in delivering homes, services, and innovation for the most disadvantaged communities, I am seeking a Senior support worker, for their recovery and rehabilitation service in Chesterfield.

The Job:
Based in Chesterfield, you will provide recovery focused support to individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs, within a 24-hour service.


You will be responsible for organising and managing the day to day running of the service in conjunction with existing contracts and company policies and procedures. You will support the registered manager in achieving service goals and objectives, whilst supporting with business growth and development.

You will work a varied shift pattern, as well as have specified supernumerary sessions. It is essential that you are available to work shifts from 4pm-1am on a rota basis, to include every other weekend.

Are you:
Skilled in a support worker or senior support worker capacity for mental health services?
Do you hold the level 3 in health and social care or equivalent?
Competent in leading a team, a skilled self-starter and effective delegater?
Committed to making a difference to the lives of the people you support and promoting recovery focused care and support?
