Job role
Working with us at GUK, we value you more than just a security guard. You will be responsible for maintaining the look and feel of
our pristine site. You will be responsible for providing safety of this modern building with your customer service and support for
those who work and visit the building.
The role is critical to ensure our operational day-to-day frontline services work like clockwork. A typical day for someone who
is self-motivated could include access control, greeting visitors, regular patrols, and completing the daily occurrence book. You
will then finish every shift with a good thorough handover.
You are an individual who communicates well, have a strong sense for reliability and understand the importance of being smartly
presented in uniform at all times. Also you would need to be proactive and always willing to learn.
You will receive full training and we are looking for motivated individuals who will make a measurable contribution to the
continued success of GUK.
Core Responsibilities:
* Reporting faults to the Building Manager
* A ‘how we can’ mentality
* Provide information, directions/escort Residents, Guests to their desired locations
* Deal with any queries from Residents/Guests and offer assistance with a sense of urgency
* Provide Residents/Guests with acts of kindness to make them feel welcomed and create a rapport maintain excellent professional
relationships
* Understand and strictly adhere to GUK’s procedures and protocols of the building with regards Health & Safety, Security
measures and building access control
Ideal Experience:
* 3 years minimum experience
* Experience of composing emails and preparing incident reports
* Proactively uses initiative to recognise priorities within own workload
* Problem solving
Must Have:
* Proof of right to work.
* Valid SIA licence
* 5 Year employment history
Desirable:
* CCTV SIA Licence
