TeacherActive is proud to be working with an independant secondary school based in Derby. The school provides a high standard of education. This largely populated school boasts facilities and offers opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote students’ engagement, to help them flourish personally and academically.
The school is looking to take on a driven English Teacher on a long-term basis, leading to a permanent position for the right English Teacher. The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, including exam preparation for GCSE’s. There is the opportunity for A Level teaching too. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.
The successful English Teacher will have:

QTS with English specialism (ECTs are also welcomed)

Experience teaching English up to Key Stage 4 / KS4

Excellent classroom management
