Job Summary:
We are currently seeking passionate Secondary School Cover Supervisors to join our team in Rhondda Cynon Taf. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a classroom of students aged 11 to 16+, ensuring they remain engaged in set work. You will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of departments and age ranges on a daily basis, offering extra support to lower ability pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing a classroom of students, ensuring they remain engaged in set work
• Working with a variety of departments and age ranges, offering extra support to lower ability pupils
Requirements:
• CACHE Level 3, HTLA qualification, or at least 6 months of experience
• Specialisation in your field
• Experience working with additional learning needs and/or challenging behaviour
• Confidence in managing a diverse classroom of students
• Effective communication skills with young people
• Ability to manage behaviour and keep students engaged in work
• Flexibility to work in different departments and with different age ranges
