Summary
Day Shift Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider- Banking Environment – Liverpool Street, London - £43,500
CBW is currently recruiting for a Day Shift Maintenance Engineer to cover a large Bank located in Liverpool Street, London. The successful candidate will be qualified Electrically or Mechanically and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site (Team of 2) He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is paying a competitive salary of £43,500, further training and career progression.
Hours of Work & Package Information
- 4 on 4 off, 6 on 4 off 4 on 6 off - 07:00 am to 19:00 pm
- £43,500 per annum
- Lots of overtime available
- 22 Days holiday
- Uniform and Tools Provided
- Cycle to work scheme
- Overtime Available
- A lot of progression available
- Annual pay review
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)
- Emergency lighting
- Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
- Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
- Pumps, motors
- BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)
- Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
- Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
- Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
- Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
- Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
- Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
- Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
- Escort specialist subcontractors
Requirements
- Electrical or Mechanically qualified level 2&3 (C&G, NVQ etc)
- 18th Edition if electrically bias
- You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
- A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
- Multi-skilled
- Good communication skills
- Excellent customer skills
- Must be able to get to site for 07:00am start
