Summary

Working with a well-established engineering company who are now on the lookout for an experienced NDT Inspector to join their ever-growing team based just outside of Bath.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and inspecting components using Non Destructive Testing (NDT) by dye penetrant immersion and visual examination, to ensure component parts conform to technical drawings and quality acceptance standards.
• Working to the production schedule, processing a wide variety of complex aerospace components safely and efficiently.
• Carrying out control checks of the NDT line on a weekly basis.
• Maintaining detailed, auditable records of inspections carried out and the results.
• Raising and completing internal reject notes with clear details of the failure reason, with reference to the applicable specification and quality acceptance standard (QAS).

Requirements:

• Dye penetrant NDT experience with documented supervised training hours from a certified Level II/III.
• Precision Engineering experience
• Ability to check components for defects
• Level II NDT Qualified
• Experience in Aerospace or similar engineering industries
• EN4179 / NAS410 qualification
• Magnetic Flaw Detection Experience

On Offer:

• £35K - £40K (DOE)
• 37 hours per week Monday - Thursday 7:30am – 4pm and Friday 7:30am - 12:30pm
• Overtime (when available) paid at time and half.
• 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
• Company Pension Scheme
