Job title: Personal Assistant (PA)
Reporting to: The Employer
Location: Loftus, TS13
Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist the employer who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
About the employer:
Our client is a 41-year-old female living in the Loftus area who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 14 hours per week.
Our client lives with her partner and young daughter.
Our client suffers with poor mobility and is a fulltime wheelchair user and has poor mental health and can sometimes struggle to carry out daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, and accessing the community.
Main duties:
Support with getting 7-year-old Daughter to the bus stop for school.
Support with collecting 7-year-old Daughter from the bus stop after school.
Support with personal care x 3 days per week while Daughter is at school.
Support with accessing the community/shopping weekly for 2 hours.
These duties may vary from day-to-day.

Wednesday: 7.20-8.20am, 2:45pm-3:45pm
Thursday: 7.20-8.20am, 3:00pm-3:30pm
Friday: 7.20-8.20am, 2:45pm-3:45pm
Saturday: Day Off
Sunday: 09:30am-12:30pm
Rate of pay: £11.44 per hour.
Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
previous care/support experience
confidentiality
good at building relationships
Preferred:
good communicator
a good listener
ability to support people with complex needs
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
