Summary

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Assistant to work in adult social care working in our care home located in the centre of Radcliffe-On-Trent.

The role is full time working 30-36 hours per week, however, we can consider candidates who are looking for part time hours as well. The role would involve working alternate weekends.

Purpose of the role:

To be part of the catering team, whose aim is to provide meals to a high standard, taking note of any special diets of the people living in the home.

The responsibilities of the role include:

- To ensure all food is prepared and served with the highest regard to nutritional value and hygienic conditions.
- To maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area to the highest standard.
- To ensure that any waste is kept to a minimum.
- To adhere to the food standards agency guidance for catering in health and social care.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working in a kitchen environment.

About the role:

- Hours of work - 30 - 35 hours per week
- Shift pattern - Working 1.30pm - 6.30pm or 7am - 1.30pm
