Summary

Senior Mechanic

Senior Mechanic - Milton Keynes - Earn up to £14/h - Apply Now!

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for Senior Mechanic to work with an important micromobility company in Milton Keynes. Leading smart-mobility provider that offers cities an array of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.

Shift Patterns:

  • Monday-Friday: 7:30am-3:30pm

Pay Rates

  • £13-£14 depending on experience

As a Senior Mechanic you will need to have:

  1. at least 18 years old
  2. practical skills navigating and using apps
  3. ability to be very active - bend, stoop, and lift up to 35kg on a frequent basis
  4. to respond to various tasks as they are assigned
  5. willingness to learn, a great attitude and ability to work well with others
  6. background or previous experience in PEV (e-bike, e-scooter etc) mechanics (qualifications such as Cytech level 2 or similar hugely advantageous)
  7. Previous workshop team lead or management experience

Role of a Senior Mechanic:

  1. Meet daily repair targets to keep the fleet functioning
  2. Keep warehouse and workplace a clean and safe environment for all
  3. Other tasks inside the workshop as required
  4. Repair ebikes and possibly escooters to expected standards using officially supplied parts
  5. Manage and lead the small team of mechanics
  6. Help organizing the workshop and keep it up to company health, safety and performance standards and expectations
