Discovery are looking for Support Workers to Support 1 female and 5 males to live their lives to the fullest by people who care and will promote their independence every day.
It's important to the People we Support that they have Support Workers who are happy to get involved in daily activities with them, here are just a few things that you could be doing!
- Music - anything from the 60s!
- Going out to the pub,
- Shopping,
- Coffee & Cake at the local cafe,
- Walking in the countryside,
- Nights out at the disco!
- Wrestling - we even went to a show recently!
We are only a short walk from the train station and 10 minutes walk to the town centre so lots of opportunities!
Your role will also involve daily support which would include, personal care, food shopping, cleaning and financial support among other responsibilities.
You must hold a full UK Driving License for this role.

You will receive on-shift training and support within the service to develop your skills and knowledge. Discovery will fund and support you to obtain your Care Certificate (a recognised qualification in Care); and can offer further career development opportunities including Apprenticeships and NVQ qualifications.
