Summary

Job summary

We’re seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and driven person to break the mould and join our progressive and caring team based in Tonbridge. You’ll share our steadfast commitment to high quality care, enjoy working autonomously (no micro-managing here!) and be a keen learner. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for a change, we want you to be a permanent fixture, so we’ll invest in you and your professional development.

You’ll benefit from:

• £12.25 per hour
• £11.44 per hour travelling time
• A fair and competitive pension scheme
• Access to our profit share scheme from day one

So, if you are motivated, friendly, caring, and ready to respond to the challenge of our ageing population in Kent, we’d love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job

As a Support Worker, you’ll have the privilege of caring for others, learning intricate details about their lives and ambitions, be involved in their day-to-day activities, and offer responsive care and support to enable people to remain at home, safely, and well. You’ll deliver personal care, prepare nutritious and scrumptious meals, help people manage their medicines safely and, above all, be the best advocate you can for those you care for.

About us

We’re not interested in the mundane. We’re setting a new course for social care, with quality at its heart, and we’re growing a compassionate and inclusive team. We want to be the best employer – we’ll put the effort in to take care of you and, in return, you’ll need to be passionate, driven, reliable, and keen to be fully involved in revolutionising the way care is delivered.

Looking for professional development? We believe in supporting you to be the best that you can be.

Hever Care is committed to equality, diversity, and inclusion, as we know that this leads to better care and a happier workforce. So, all our colleagues have equal access to career opportunities and are treated fairly.
