Summary


Kingston Hospital Estates are recruiting Mechanical Plumber to join our in-house team to deliver a range of planned and reactive work.

You will work alongside highly skilled and experienced estates team to maintain a quality environment for our patients and colleagues. In addition, you will have the benefit of working on our four days on and four days off rota which will gives you an extra twelve rest days every eight weeks when compared to a normal Monday to Friday rota and will be paid enhanced hourly rates at weekends.

To complete both planned & reactive maintenance to a high standard on all mechanical plant and services within the Hospital and associated buildings. Provide an excellent level of customer care, communication and flexibility when completing work which supports the Trusts Clinical services and Patient care.

In support of the Mechanical Supervisor to ensure the day-to-day efficient and safe working of all plumbing and mechanical plant on site. To work within the Estates Department Health & Safety policies and protocols, ensuring that working practices comply with these in both spirit and practice. Includes carrying out routine Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) of plumbing and mechanical plant as directed by the Mechanical Supervisor. To attend to plant and plumbing faults and breakdowns to carry out repairs and restore the units to service as quickly and efficiently as possible.
