About the role

Maintenance of the school buildings and environment are effectively undertaken
To be part of a team that are responsible for health and safety of the sites and adhere to the Health & Safety Policy
To undertake repairs and DIY projects
Be part of an effective premises team ensuring that the changing needs of the Academies are met through training and development of the premises staff

This is a permanent position with following working options:
1. 1 x 18.5 hours at NJC 8 and 1 x 17.5 hours at NJC 8; OR2. 1 X 36 hours at NJC 8
About our Academy
Humberston Academy is an oversubscribed ‘outstanding’ academy located in an affluent area of North East Lincolnshire. As well as being an Ofsted graded outstanding academy, Humberston Academy achieved ‘World Class Schools’ status in December 2019 and re-accredited in 2022. Humberston Academy continues to deliver incredible opportunities to young people with a specific focus on STEM enrichment and favourable links to the apprenticeships industry as well as traditional route towards higher education.
Humberston Academy has also been appointed as the Teaching School Hub for the local region which will allow all colleagues to access leading edge career professional development in order to enhance the standard of teaching as well as the opportunity to deliver CPD to colleagues locally in our profession. Furthermore, we are the hub school for the National Mathematics and Physics SCITT which means we have an important role of training Mathematic teachers for the future.
