Summary

Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative company recruit an Electrical, Control, & Instrumentation (E,C&I) Engineer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and a benefits package.

As an Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will work across various projects, including those addressing plant and equipment repair and refurbishment, component selection, process improvement, and new equipment, including Instrumentation, data acquisition, and signal conditioning.

In your first few weeks in this Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Understand the design intent of existing plant and machinery, their operating regimes and maintenance requirements
• Design and implement new E,C&I engineering elements of plant, machinery and wind tunnel test equipment, ensuring that company processes documentation and engineering justifications appropriately
• Understand and characterise existing plant, machine and test equipment to ensure its integration with new equipment
• Review telemetry and data gathered from operational equipment to understand performance.

To apply for this Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (E,C&I) Engineer role, you will need a degree (Bachelor or Masters) qualified in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or a closely related subject. You will also require 5 - 10 years of industrial experience post-degree in a similar role. In addition, you should be highly numerate and confident with analytical methods and an understanding of industrial machinery and the application of formal design control and change procedures.

You must also be able to satisfy UK Security Clearance criteria including a minimum of 5 years continuous residency in the UK
