Summary


We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to join the department of Older People’s Services at Ipswich Hospital, part of East Suffolk and North East Essex foundation as a full or part time Advanced Clinical Practitioner.

The Advanced Clinical Practitioner role will be integral in supporting the Multidisciplinary Team in the provision and delivery specialist care within the Older Persons Services.

Alongside clinical care you will develop a clear Parkinson’s pathway and standard operating procedure for Parkinson’s services. This role will encompass a 5-day working pattern.

You will join a team of skilled Parkinson’s Disease practitioners including nurses and Geriatricians. Our services provide inpatient and outpatient care for Parkinson’s Disease in addition to education for the inpatient teams.

We are assessing our patients at the point of need and helping to improve their long term care. This role will be integral in further developing clear Parkinson’s Disease pathways including locality based care, implementation of National Guidance, supporting specialist nurses and collaboration with the Geriatricians for an integrated service.
