We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Care Manager to join the Initial Contact Team in Adult Care. The successful candidate will join a friendly, supportive and dynamic team. We are committed to providing good quality supervision and continuing professional development opportunities.

The Initial Contact Team is responsible for delivering a high quality and responsive service through strength-based conversation, to understand and where possible resolve queries and issues raised at first point of contact into Adult Social Care. By using a strengths based approach we signpost, explore all community based options and assess and arrange short term and long term support.
Your next role
You will demonstrate good communication skills and enjoy working in a fast pace environment. We are interested in applicants who have experience of and a passion to work with adults and are committed to providing a person centred and strengths based approach to their work. The role entails working in partnership with adults and carers to assess need, set up outcome focussed support plans as appropriate as per the requirements of the Care Act 2014.

Candidates must have NVQ in Care Level 3 or equivalent.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
