Summary


We are looking for a Fulltime Band 3 Infection Prevention and Control Assistant based to work in our IPC department. You will be required to work acrosssite at our Andover, Winchester and Basingstoke sites.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an expert specialist service that positively impacts on the experience of patients, visitors and carers.

To plan and conduct infection prevention audits on a regular and as required basis in accordance with the infection control audit programme, liaising with the relevant people to feedback any issues identified and to enter the audit data on to Trust and departmental systems accurately and in a timely fashion.

To be a good role model for infection prevention by promoting Trust standards and upholding infection prevention and control policies and procedures.

Flexible working patterns will be considered.

• Interest in infection control and willingness to undertake training
• Computer literate and comfortable with Microsoft systems
