Summary
Location: Office based
Hours: Full-time, 9am-5pm Monday to Friday
We are currently recruiting for the role of a junior designer, with a particular focus on Solar Photovoltaic (PV).
Our position will offer the right candidate an opportunity to learn all the skills and qualifications to work within this vibrant and dynamic industry. The design role will focus on the tools and programmes that are employed in the planning, calculation and delivery of Solar PV projects varying from small domestic installations to large scale roof and ground mounted systems. In addition to the technicalities of design, there will also be opportunities to learn all office administration and project management processes that support the business.
Ideally, you will have professional experience in an organisational and technical role, but above all possess fantastic interpersonal skills. The role is aimed at a technical college leaver, candidates with good numeracy and literacy skills, and a natural bent for technology and learning. Most of all we are looking for candidates that can work within a family/team environment.
Role:
• PV design and calculation software.
• AutoCAD.
• PV product and installation methods.
• Office administration.
Skills and Experience:
• Excellent time management when handling multiple tasks.
