Summary
The post holder will be the administrator & co-ordinator for the transfer of Imaging studies both in and out of the Trust; providing technical & administrative support as and when required. The Trust has several mechanisms for the safe transfer of imaging data, these include but are not limited to CD/ DVD, Image Exchange Portal (IEP), CIMAR, PACS Exchange, Secure FTP & Dicom push2push links.
The post holder will need to justify data handling requests and choose the most appropriate method for transfer. The post holder will also be responsible for the handling of and importing of external imaging data on to the UCLH PACS to fulfil a range of requirements including MDMT review, patient care referrals etc. This will require the post holder to liaise with clinical teams and staff of all levels. The post holder may be required to design appropriate pathways for different processes and workflows in relation to all aspects of Image data sharing solutions.
