Summary

Shift Pattern - 4 on 4 off - 2days/2nights (06:00-18:15/18:00-06:15)
Cleanroom environment - hooded coverall required.

Purpose of the role
Primarily responsible for carrying out manufacturing activities such as;

The test, measurement and characterisation of manufactured Epiwafers in a cleanroom environment
Loading /Unloading of production material
Other manufacturing related tasks as required and directed.
Reporting to the Shift Leader on a 24/7 shifted basis



Key Responsibilities

Carry out Production runs as required by the Daily Production Schedule/OSR targets and objectives
To complete accurate records of all specified product characteristics.
To perform routine operations on all test and measurement (Characterisation) equipment, in a safe, accurate, reliable and consistent manner.
To perform scheduled calibration and/or monitoring as requested and to maintain all appropriate records, SPC data and charts.
To gain a basic understanding of IQE product characteristics, and, how different groups within the organisation interact with each other (especially the Engineering/Growth/Characterisation relationship).
To assist in modifications, and process improvement programmes where required.
Assist in the training of staff as and when required and where competent to do so.
Provide back-up safety cover to standard operating procedures as required (e.g. bubbler and cylinder changes)
Complete all run-related data and checks on ODS (Manufacturing IT System), pre-run checks, and assist in 1<sup>st</sup> stage problem solving where necessary.
Responsible for maintaining local bay area, reactor loading area and glovebox housekeeping to normal semiconductor standards
Participate in any problem solving and continuous improvement programmes focused on achieving business objectives.

Qualifications / Essential Skills

Good educational background
Excellent communication skills and a degree of computer literacy is essential.
Experience in a production/technical environment – cleanroom experience preferable.
Ability to work unsupervised
