Summary


We are looking to recruit highly motivated nurses who are passionate about the care of patients to join our well-established critical care team in delivering a 24/7 service.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly team who are motivated in promoting the delivery of a patient-centred, clinically effective and dynamic service to our patients.

Our critical care units form part of the East of England Critical Care Delivery Network and utilises a paperless clinical information system.

Do you possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work confidently and collaboratively across professional boundaries? Are you keen and motivated to learn? If so, then your skills are invaluable to us and we would like to hear from you.

In this post, you will deliver excellent and individualised clinical care to our patients and their families, and you will be fully supported to achieve this through our comprehensive educational strategy.

Depending on your level of experience you will develop your competence and confidence through a programme of supervised practice, critical care specific competencies and a series of development days specifically for band 5 staff.

You will work within a Clinical Specialist team and contribute to activities and projects with the goal of professional and practice development.
You must have an understanding of the current health agenda and national guidance which informs critical care practice.

In this role you will be expected to undertake internal rotation of shifts and will be predominantly based at the Ipswich site with a requirement to work at the Colchester Critical Care unit if required.
