We’re offering an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals to join our team and be supported to develop their leadership skills.
We are a caring and supportive team, and we pride ourselves on our extensive, induction and training programme. We support individuals to regain their independence following an accident or a period of illness, and we help them to remain in their own home.
In this development role you will spend the first 12 months enhancing your leadership skills and learning the Team Leader role through (Single Status 7):
Working on ‘duty’: being on hand for Support Workers to provide advice, including at evenings and weekends.
Taking the lead on a key service area, for example medication and Equality & Diversity
Completing Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship.
After 12-month development period you will:
Take on responsibility for the line management of a team of Support Workers/Lead Support Workers
Oversee client review visits and monitor the progression of clients.
Upon commencement of these duties and reaching apprenticeship end point assessment your salary will increase to Single Status 8
We are looking to invest in talented individuals who want to connect with people. Experience in communicating with clients and professionals, accurately recording information, and working in a fast-paced environment will stand you in good stead for the position of Team Leader. Experience in care, however, is not essential.
This role is also available as a 1 year secondment for existing East Sussex employees with their line manager's permission.

Note: a driving license is required and the role involves working shifts between the hours of 7am and 10pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
