Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Health Care Assistant (Band 2) to join the Hull and East riding Nursing and Conditions Out of Hours community team, working 23 hours over 2 nights. Your role would include working along side a registered nurse between the hours of 8am and 8pm and would involve commuting across Hull and East Riding to provide care for patients requiring nursing intervention in their own home.
Successful applicants must be flexible in your approach to practice, have excellent communication skills, be adaptable and be able support the registered nurses to lead and drive forward change ensuring patient safety is maintained at all times. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate IT literacy and this post requires that you have the ability to travel between locations to carry out your work and to attend training and visits.
The ability to commute within CHCP CIC's geographical areas with access to appropriate means of transport is essential.
