Summary
We are looking for a Band 5 MSK Physiotherapist to support the MSK physiotherapy team in West Kent.
The West Kent MSK Physiotherapy service is the primary provider for outpatient MSK services in West Kent. We operate from three departments; the Churchill Centre in Aylesford, Sevenoaks Hospital and, Tonbridge Cottage Hospital.
We provide outpatient MSK Physiotherapy services to the residents of West Kent. Whilst working closely with our colleagues’ in other areas, to provide a Kent wide service. We form part of the Integrated Musculoskeletal (IMSK) service which incorporates the Community Orthopaedic and First Contact Practitioner team and, the Community Chronic pain team.
Although full time hours are preferred. Part time hours may be considered for the right candidate at a minimum of 22.5 hours over 3 days.
This role is open to both current registered physiotherapists and students.

.Your main responsibilities will include managing a clinical caseload of musculoskeletal patients as an autonomous practitioner. Developing and maintaining a high level of skill and knowledge in all areas of clinical practice supported by your clinical supervisor and a structured capability framework.
You will be able to consolidate and build on your skills with regular in-service training, clinical supervision and allocated personal Continued Professional Development (CPD) time; there are also Trust-wide Clinical Special Interest Groups available. We have an established appraisal system to actively support your CPD.
The ability to work independently, proactively and under pressure with a positive and a welcoming disposition towards our patients and staff is important.
You will be required to travel across trust sites in a timely manner. This role will be mainly based at the Churchill Centre in Aylesford. However, as we are a community trust some travel is to be expected in West Kent and, ad hoc throughout Kent for training and to help meet service demands.
