Summary

Are you currently working as a Care Worker? Do you want to take the next steps in your career? Radis Community Care are actively recruiting for a Team Leader to join the team at Maritime House, Hilsea.

What will you be doing as a Team Leader?

As a Team Leader you will be working alongside 2 other Team Leaders to ensure that service runs smoothly from shift to shift and ensuring we provide an excellent standard of care to all residents within the service. You will be ensuring that Support Plans, Risk Assessments, MAR charts, 1 page profiles and other paperwork are completed and updated on a regular basis. You will also be working alongside Support Workers supporting with direct care visits when required as well as completing monitoring checks including medication competency, spot checks and carers assessments.

You will also be working with clients to ensure they get the most out of care & support from Radis. As well as supporting with social inclusion activities and local trips out.

We care for a range of service users including the elderly and for people with physical and/or learning disabilities. Tailored to meet our service user’s individual needs, our care ranges from brief daily visits to 24-hour live-in care and can either be short or long-term.

Requirements

• Most importantly we are looking for somebody that has the right values and have a genuine desire to make sure our clients get the best possible support
• You will be able to work shifts which will include 07:00AM - 14:00PM and 14:00PM - 22:00PM as well as alternate weekends
• You would of worked in the health and social care sector for a minimum of 1 year
• Currently hold or working towards a NVQ Level 3
