Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable hiab class 2 driver to join our client. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations. This is a vital role in our organization, ensuring that our products reach their destinations on time and in good condition.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo as needed
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
Skills:
- Valid hgv class 2 licence (no more than 6 points due to insurance and no DD or IN infringements)
- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver
- Must hold valid hiab licence, cpc and digi tacho
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Immediate start temporary may lead to permanent position
