Summary
Rising Stars Pre-School & Nursery is a family oriented nursery with a homely environment.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a level 3 apprentice to complete their apprenticeship and become a qualified practitioner.
Duties include;
To provide a safe, caring, stimulating environment, both indoors and outdoors, always.
To deliver an appropriate play based EYFS curriculum that enables children to make individual developmental progress
To follow in the moment planning
to understand and work to the nursery policies and procedures.
To show motivation, initiative and creativity to set up activities that are age and stage appropriate
To show self-drive to complete their apprenticeship
To liaise closely with parents/carers, informing them about the nursery and their child’s day and learning and developmental progress
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by their room lead and management team

Training
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Rising stars Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes:
• Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
• Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Educator
• Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid or Level 3 Award in Emergency Paediatric First Aid
• Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
This will be delivered through Rising stars Day Nursery's dedicated training provider, Realise.
Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020.
Qualifications required
GCSE English and Maths A- C or equivalent - preferred
Option for a 6 week Skills Bootcamp for the right candidate
Skills required
Organised, creative, articulate, basic English & maths,
Prospects
Aim high – room for internal promotions onto room leader and management
Qualification / Standard : ST0135 Early years educator
Duration 12 months
