£12.44 per hour with additional holiday pay accrual, plus every second weekend is guaranteed time off.

Who will you be helping to make life better for?

Prestige Nursing & Care Edinburgh are seeking dedicated and passionate Health Care Assistant to join our care and support team. You will work delivering person centred, specialised care to our clients in their own homes on a one-to-one basis. This will enable you to maintain a clinical and supportive overview of your client.

We are looking for Professional Carers who can build positive relationships with a range of clients and their families as we understand the importance that we play in their lives.

The Role

  • Deliver personal care to supported individuals.
  • Work as part of a team or independently to supported individuals in their own homes.
  • Medication management
  • Social visits.
  • Meal support

We're looking for:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A driver's licence is an advantage but not a requirement
  • Good professional and personal references

If you are a driver, you will receive 45p per mile to cover mileage costs.

In line with Care Inspectorate regulations, we require and will undertake Enhanced PVG, Right to Work, Reference and Employment History checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.
