Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will be responsible for providing nurturing care and education to young children in our nursery setting. Your main goal will be to ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of each child under your care.
Responsibilities
Plan and deliver a range of age-appropriate activities and educational programs for children in the nursery.
Create a warm and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress and behavior, sharing this information with parents and caregivers.
Collaborate with the nursery team to create and maintain a safe and hygienic environment for children.
Support children in their daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and toilet training.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to create a welcoming and inclusive nursery environment.
Stay updated with best practices and advancements in early childhood education to continually improve the quality of care provided.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar childcare role.
Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
Knowledge of child development theories and best practices in early years education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and parents.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
First Aid/CPR certification and a clear background check are also required.cel skills.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 10:00
End Time: 18:00
Pay Per Hour: £16.35
