Duties:
• Oversees the daily operations of the takeaway food shop.
• Plans and coordinates food preparation in collaboration with other staff members.
• Determines staffing requirements and create schedules.
• Purchases supplies and manage inventory.
• Arranges for the preparation of financial accounts.
• Ensures proper utilisation of supplies to prevent wastage and stay within budget limits.
• Prioritises customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
• Addresses customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitors and maintains a high standard of food quality and presentation.
• Ensures that the takeaway food shop complies with all statutory hygiene requirements.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
• Maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the shop.
• Decide on the range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided.
• Collaborates with staff to plan and arrange food preparation.
• Continuously assesses the menu for improvements and seasonal adjustments.
• Determines financial requirements and budgetary constraints.
• Monitors expenses, sales, and profits to achieve financial goals.
• Implement cost-effective measures to optimise profitability.
• Motivates and leads a team of staff members.
• Fosters a positive work environment and provides guidance and support.
• Conducts regular performance evaluations and training.
• Ensures timely delivery of customer orders.
• Monitors and evaluates driver performance.
• Implements efficient delivery processes.
Qualification:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent or above
Skills:
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in inventory management and financial analysis
• knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in financial record-keeping and inventory management
• Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies.
Experience:
Prospective employee should have at least one year experience in a managerial role within the food industry.
