This is an exciting role for an experience Dog Handler who is looking for a new challenge, to join a fast paced and high performing team renowned for their approach and delivery of unparalleled service. We are looking for a Dog Handler to undertake the following duties on a day to day basis:
· To perform dog care duties
· To clean out kennels, housing equipment and relevant areas
· To ensure all ailments, infections and injuries are reported to the Client Liaison Supervisor
· To escalate issues/concerns involving the Client, dogs and other staff to the Client Liaison Supervisor.
· To check all kennels and equipment for wear and tear
· To maintain correct records pertaining to the care of dogs.
· To meet potential new owners of dogs and to carry out rehome checks.
· To attend dog training sessions as required.
· Any other duties as and when required.
Knowledge/Experience
· Have previous dog/ animal experience
· Have strong communication skills
· Have a keen interest in dogs and dog care
· Have your own transport
