Role Overview
As an Onshore Work Preparator, you will be responsible for the quality work planning & scheduling of orders in SAP P16. Key responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure all activities are prepared (Including permits) to allow an efficient & safe delivery of work.
- Ownership and proactive management of the work order compliance process ensuring that standards are met and the requirement for deferment of work is minimised.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the short- & long-term plan of Preventative, Corrective, Opportune and Campaign work.
- Facilitate all weekly meetings whilst actively leading and engaging in the discussions.
- Apply technical knowledge to determine problems, Failures and identifying appropriate solutions.
- Ensure work order look ahead are performed and reflected in schedules / plans.
- When required attend short- and long-term IAP meetings
- Responsible for running daily ready for execution checks and setting relevant work orders for scheduling.
- Responsible for ensuring all constraints (including materials) are managed in relation to rough scheduled dates and target finish dates.
- Complete work order close out completing technical history within the site SAP system which will be reviewed and approved by the relevant Team Lead.
- Evaluate Work Pack feedback to improve future work planning utilising the lesson learned process
- Responsible for determining planned man hours & updating estimate man hours fields
- Perform quality checks on Work Orders to ensure the scope has been fully completed and the work order history is correctly closed out.
- Support Shell Discipline Engineers / TA's to define and prepare packaged equipment repairs.
- Interface with TAR co-ordinators with regard to identifying pre/post-TAR activities and also TAR specific critical activities.
- Where required will comply with Management of Change Process (e-MOC) and liaise with Technical Authorities (TA2)

Education & Qualifications
- Must have a Mechanical background with Knowledge & understanding of E&I Works.
- Strong organisational skills with an "attention to detail"
- Excellent team-working skills, inspiring trust and loyalty in others.
- Strong communication skills and proven ability to interface with internal and external clients at all levels.
- Proven ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary team.
- Skilled in using SAP to prepare & schedule work packages and monitor materials availability would be advantageous.
- Highly skilled in applying technical knowledge to determine equipment problems and identifying appropriate solutions.
- Knowledge of Primavera project software and its use in developing network plans, including critical paths and resourcing advantageous
