Hays Accountancy and Finance are working with this great, service, business based in Walsall who are recruiting a Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis.
Your new role
The job of the Management Accountant will involve:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Analysis of actuals against budget
- Providing commentary on variances
- Journals
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting the Finance Business Partner when needed
- Reviewing the monthly results
- Reviewing the financial processes and controls and making recommendations when needed
- Dealing with queries to help support the business
- Preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would ideally be studying towards an accountancy qualification or have the necessary experience to do the role. They will also have good IT skills, specifically in excel and have good analytical and technical skills.
