Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

What you'll be doing;
- Assist the Senior Site Chemist and the Site Manager in the execution of the day-to-day operations of the site including the supervision of operatives as required.
- Sample and analyse all materials destined for on-site treatment performing compatibility testing and the generation of written instructions for site personnel.
- Perform daily inspections of the transfer area, highlight (and where appropriate remedy) and report potential breaches of permit or safe working conditions.
- Cooperate with site management to ensure that site personnel, contractors and visitors comply with the site rules.
- Perform sampling and verification of incoming waste chemicals and raise non-conformance reports as required.
What we're looking for;
- Minimum of HNC or Degree qualification in Chemistry or relevant science degree
- An ability to overcome problems and find solutions independently
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Numerate, literate and computer literate
