Summary


Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialist for Lung Cancer and Mesothelioma. 1 WTE (2 years fixed term with anticipation that recurrent funding will be secured on an ongoing basis.)

This post will be divided between the lung cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist role (3 days) and the mesothelioma clinical nurse specialist role (2 days).

The post-holder will work as a CNS covering both lung cancer and Mesothelioma, delivering an expert, specialist service to patients and families across Barts Health. The role requires the post holder to work flexibly between lung cancer patients and mesothelioma patients. The post holder will actively manage patient caseload; provide support and assessment to patients; initiate actions required; liaise with the medical team, allied health professionals and community team. They will be involved in education, research, audit and professional activities relating to lung cancer and Mesothelioma
