We are recruiting CABLE WINDING OPERATIVES to join our available list to receive alerts for when labours are required to cover short term shift work. You will be physically fit and able to work as a part of a team to guide and coil undersea cable into storage tanks. Working within a warehouse environment at times the cables can be dirty and vary in size of thickness. This is not a full-time role hence recruiting people who are seeking additional top up work. When we get notified by the client all that are on the list will be contacted to gain availability. Due to the nature of the weather and the sea’s the shifts can change at short notice.
Length of shifts vary from 4 to 12 hours. Pay rates will switch at time cross overs.
• Day shifts are between 08.00am to 20.00pm
• Night shifts are between 20.00pm to 08.00am
You will have:
• A mobile phone that can received SMS alerts
• Able to carry out manual labour tasks
• Strong communication skills as you will be working with in a team
• Steel to cap boots and not afraid to get a bit dirty
