Summary


We are looking for an enthusiastic Paediatric Registered Nurse to join our Paediatric Emergency Department. Ours is an evolving and continuously developing service which sees a wide array of presentations from injuries to acute illness.

As a dynamic individual with good interpersonal and communication skills, this is an exciting development opportunity for you work as part of our team, to gain experience and skills where no two days are the same. You will assist our friendly multi-disciplinary team in the provision and maintenance of a seamless service, giving high-quality care to patients whilst contributing to the reduction of healthcare acquired infection. As a reflective practitioner, we will support you in developing your own capabilities and nursing knowledge.

As a Paediatric Emergency paediatric nurse you will work closely with the Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU) which is co-located on the paediatric ward whilst also maintaining a close working relationship with the wider Paediatric Directorate, including Neptune Paediatric Ward, Paediatric Outpatients and the Neonatal Unit.
