Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.
Location: Edinburgh, EH1.
Salary: £25,000 - £38,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.

About The Role:

As a Fire and Security Engineer you must be multi-disciplined and able to work with the minimum of supervision and be local to the company office in Edinburgh.
The ideal candidate must have at least 5+ years relevant experience, with various Intruder Alarm, CCTV, Access Control and Fire Alarm systems. Ideally with supporting product training, certification and related qualifications.

They are BAFE and SSAIB accredited, you should possess a good working knowledge of the level of work required to adhere to these standards.

The company have a varied client base and therefore you will need to be adaptable, and have good written and verbal communication skills. As part of the fire and security team you will also be required to take your turn on an out of hours call out rota.

Candidate Requirements:

• Ability to attend appointments as scheduled and when instructed
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to record accurately all works carried out
• Ability to undertake Fire and Security works to a consistently high standard and in a high-pressure environment
• Able to participate in the on-call Rota system
• Flexible approach to types of work required to undertake
• Good IT skills
• FULL UK Driving licence - clean
• MUST live within 30 miles of Edinburgh - EH1 postcode
