Nuffield Health are seeking a Customer Service focused individual to join our inpatient bookings team in Tunbridge Wells as a Bookings Administrator.

The Booking Administrator will be responsible for effectively and efficiently administering inpatient bookings from referral to discharge, liaising with theatres and consultants, ensuring the company is able to meet / exceed their service deliverables from a quantitative and qualitative perspective for all referrers at all times.

As a Bookings Administrator, you will:

  • Process referrals received by e-mail and warm handover. Obtaining relevant information from the patient. Create bookings files, patient correspondence and updating all internal computer databases / spreadsheets.

  • Update the patient administration system, ensuring the clinic and theatre times are maximised. Liaising between theatre, surgeon and patient to book all appointments.

  • Dispatch communications (reports, emails, telephone calls) to relevant parties to ensure bookings are processed effectively and efficiently and within agreed specified timescales.

As a Bookings Administrator, you will have:

  • Previous experience working in a fast paced customer service environment.

  • Demonstrable ability to Prioritise and organise a workload of changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent telephone Manner.

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

  • Good working knowledge of excel, word, outlook, bespoke database.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • An understanding of the importance of policies and operating procedures.
