Summary

Apollo Home Healthcare deliver a highly clinically complex service in the home across adults and children. Our service transforms the lives of many and allows our clients to live at home independently creating a personalised care plan and staff team to support their clinical and social needs. To deliver this specialist robust service, we are looking to recruit a Head of Clinical. The Head of Clinical will report directly to the Board of Directors and hold overall responsibility for clinical governance, risk management and care delivery across the organisation. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Developing and influencing clinical strategy, policy, and procedures whilst ensuring a robust and effective clinical quality management system is in place and operating effectively. To contribute to the achievement of the company strategy and objectives by providing advice and guidance on clinical, operational, and regulatory matters. Providing management, mentorship, and clinical leadership across our nursing teams. Working closely with operational teams to ensure the delivery of high quality, clinically safe care. Managing and undertaking of clinical audits processes, ensuring effective collaboration to address issues and improve care. To ensure CQC regulatory standards are adhered to in a consistent manner across the company. Represent the organisation in lead roles, such as Safeguarding, Prevent and Mental Capacity. Playing a key role in the management of complaints and incidents, especially those that meet safeguarding thresholds including the company Serious Untoward Incident framework. Ensuring high levels of clinical training are in place to support the operational teams in delivering care. Working with internal and external stakeholders to support the growth of complex care within the community. Building relationships with Integrated Care Boards, Local Authorities and end users in relation to the delivery of care. Essential Requirements: A Registered Nurse with NMC PIN, ideally with experience within high acuity care. Extensive leadership and management experience Experience of coaching and mentoring nursing teams Significant post qualification management, leadership, and clinical experience Passionate about the delivery of specialist care. Ideally an experience of working within community care. At times you will be required to travel across our network of six office locations that cover Central England. Our ideal candidate will be based within a commutable distance of our office locations in Wolverhampton, Albrighton, Peterborough, Heywood, St Helens and Doncaster.
