Summary


We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Trials Assistant to join and support research within the Collaborative Team which covers Adult Surgery within Research and Innovation (R&I) across Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT). Please be advised this is a non-clinical post.

This post is to provide cross site admin support in the Collaborative team. Our team works on existing and upcoming studies across our specialties, coordinating a vast portfolio of studies across all MFT sites, in the following specialties; Ageing, Audiology, Burns & Plastics, Colorectal, Dementia, Dermatology, Ear, Nose & Throat, Head & Neck, Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Hepatobiliary, Maxillofacial, Neurology, and Trauma & Orthopedics.

Our studies are varied and interesting. The post holder will be expected to assist with all aspects of administration in relation to our research studies. Our studies are important and we work to tight deadlines with an essential focus on attention to detail.

Our vision is to support the delivery of research across our specialties and ultimately improve health outcomes for our patients.

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated individual who has excellent communications skills, a team-orientated approach and the ability to plan and undertake work in an accurate, methodical and efficient manner.
It is important to have a good eye for detail and strong administrative and IT skills.

An understanding of the clinical trial process, our specialties, and research governance, would be advantageous but training will be provided where needed.

You will support our dynamic research team to ensure the performance and delivery of our research studies, ensuring you provide administrative support in a proactive, timely and efficient manner. You will help us to maintain our status as one of the leading Trusts in the UK and have the chance to work with a team with extensive research experience.
