TeacherActive is excited to be working with an amazing primary school based in the centre of Derby, where children have the freedom and confidence to express themselves through their creativity and imagination.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen at an outstanding school in DE21. They are looking to take on an experienced day to day KS1 Primary Teacher / Key stage 1 Teacher who is creative, organised and takes initiative.
The successful applicant will ensure that all children are able to realise their potential through high quality learning and teaching experiences that promote and value all achievement and raise self-esteem. The post is initially on a day to day basis, with the potential of leading to a longer term contract for the right KS1 Teacher.
In return, the KS1 Teacher will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment.
The successful KS1 Teacher will have:
• Previous experience teaching KS1/ Key Stage 1 in primary schools
• A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (ECT’s are also encouraged to apply)
• Fun and engaging lessons that follow the National Curriculum
• Great classroom management
• Driving License (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
