Summary

Could you be a Sense Deputy Care Manager?

This is an exciting opportunity to join our fantastic team in Rotherham as a Deputy Care Manager for our New Children's Short Breaks Service.

This is a 1 year Fixed Term role working 18 hours per week. There is possibility for the term to be extended.

We are offering £28,334 per annum pro rata (£14.53 per hour)

The service will operate Monday to Friday 3pm to 9pm, Sat-Sun 9am-6pm. (During school holidays 9am-3pm)

As a Deputy Care Manager, you will be responsible for managing referrals, and leading a small dedicated team providing support and engaging activities for children with complex and challenging support needs.

We’re looking for enthusiastic applicants who are:

Committed, flexible team player.
Passionate about enhancing other people’s lives.
Knowledge of person-centered planning and health and safety
Experienced in supervising and developing teams
Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care desirable
Previous experience in the management of services
Experience in the education sector desirable
Knowledge of multi-sensory impairments / learning difficulties is beneficial.

Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Centre
Lead and manage a team of Specialist Support Workers
Plan activities to support well being
Support individuals / groups within the Centre and community.
Provide a customised, responsive and high-quality service
To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
