Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client’s wonderful support teams in helping to provide care and support to our clients based in the Oxfordshire region.

This role is ideal for anybody who has previous experience in or have always been drawn to a vocational role focusing on the rehabilitation and long-term wellbeing of those you work with. This role is also a good fit for local students who are interested in disciplines such as physiotherapy, psychology, nursing and midwifery, among others. We can provide flexible hours to fit around studies and placements and have a welcoming and likeminded team already in place.

The role has the potential to stretch across a number of different support teams with vibrant and unique clients, each of whom live with acquired brain injuries and present with their own hobbies, interests as well as challenges in their day-to-day lives. Our teams collaborate for the benefit of the clients, and this helps to provide a wide variety of experience. No two days are the same!

A love of rock music, pottery, sports, surfing, rowing, skiing, arts and crafts, comedy and fashion would all be appreciated. This is a hugely supportive environment with well-established, welcoming support teams already in place, therefore can be an ideal role for candidates who have a genuine, caring nature and are looking for a career change into the care and support field.

We are currently recruiting for 4 clients, all adults aged between 35-50, and all based in Oxfordshire in locations such as Oxford, Witney and Abingdon. The interview process will involve a more detailed overview of our clients and a discussion to establish which role/s would be best suited to the candidate.

Working hours: Full-time, part-time and bank (zero hour) arrangements are available. Days and nights available.

Rates of pay: The rates of pay are dependent on the particular client you would be supporting, and experience. The rates are between £15.00-£17.00 per hour with uplifts on weekends and bank holidays.

All posts are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure with Adult and Child Workforce Barring. Full training will be provided. A full driving licence is preferable but not an essential requirement.
